Orioles win streak snap as they lose to the Blue Jays 5-3

The Baltimore Orioles lost to the Toronto Blue Jays five to three in the final game of a three-game series. The Orioles already won the series but were going for the sweep of the Blue Jays in Toronto.

The Orioles started Nate Karns “started” for the Orioles as they had a bullpen game. Karns only pitched two innings.

The Orioles offense struggled as Blue Jays starting pitcher Matt Shoemaker shut them down. Shoemaker pitched seven scoreless innings and only gave up two hits.

It was not until the ninth inning until the Orioles got on board with a Trey Mancini three-run home run. The Orioles come back came up short and their four-game winning streak came to an end.

The Orioles have their home opener tomorrow against the New York Yankees. The Orioles won the first series against the Yankees in New York. Hopefully the Orioles can get back to their winning ways for Opening Day.
