Orioles Rick Adair out as pitching coach

The Baltimore Orioles will need to find a new pitching coach this off season as Rick Adair is not going be regaining the job. Adair left the Orioles late last season to attend to some personal matters. Bill Castro who replaced Adair is in the mix for the job.

The Orioles have a strong pitching staff but was only 10th in era last season. Chris Tillman shined for the Orioles and led the way in wins with 16.

The era was high because the Orioles had trouble finding a fifth starter early in the season and were missing Wei-Yin Chen.

This is not a surprise to me at all, it is rare to see coaches come back after leaving a team.

Here is a tweet from Dan Connolly about the Adair.
