Orioles pitching setting in

The Baltimore Orioles are on another hot streak and this time it is because if their starting pitching.  It all started with Bud Norris shutting down the Boston Red Sox For eight innings.  Since then every starting pitcher has had a quality start. Even the two struggling pitchers Chris Tillman and Ubaldo Jimenez put together quality starts.

The bats have been hit or miss depending on the weather but the pitching has just been locked in.  All the pitchers have except for Bud Norris have struggled at some point this season so it is good for the Orioles that they are getting hot all at the same time.

The addition of Kevin Gausman has been very helpful for the Orioles.  Gausman has won two consecutive games and had only allowed two runs in those games.  I think Gausman should stay in the rotation when Miguel Gonzalez comes back and Gonzalez should go to the bullpen.

Jimenez is still a question mark for the rotation.  Jimenez has struggled with his consistency and command all season.

Tillman has also been questionable but I think he will get back on track.  Tillman has a winning attitude.

How the rotation goes the Orioles go.  The bats will score the runs and the bullpen will remain a strong suit.  This has been a great week for the Orioles as they have played both the Red Sox and Toronto Blue Jays strong.
