Orioles option Weeks, Gausman and McFarland
The Baltimore Orioles have optioned Kevin Gausman, TJ McFarland and Jemile Weeks to Triple-A Norfolk. The Orioles are very close to having their final roster set for opening day.
Both Gausman and McFarland played for the Orioles last season. Gausman is one of the Orioles top prospects and he was used as a starter and out of the bullpen last season. Gausman had a 5.66 era last season.
McFarland was a very valuable member of the bullpen last season. McFarland was used as the Orioles long-man and ate up some valuable innings. MacFarland had a 4-1 record last season and a 4.22 era, he also started one game for the Orioles
I have a feeling that Gausman and McFarland will help the Orioles at some point this season.
Weeks lost out when Jonathan Schoop had an amazing spring. Schoop played better than Weeks both Defensively and offensively.

Orioles make three roster moves
The Orioles today announced that they have optioned RHP KEVIN GAUSMAN, LHP TJ McFARLAND and INF JEMILE WEEKS to Triple-A Norfolk.
With this move, the Orioles now have 32 players at major league spring training, including three non-roster invitees.
