Orioles look to tie series against Boston: Game Preview 8/17/19

The Baltimore Orioles look to even their three-game series against the Boston Red Sox at a game a piece.

Last night the offense was nowhere to be found, as the Birds scored just one run, while Boston tallied nine runs in their victory.

Today the O’s will send RHP Asher Wojciechowski (2-5, 4.84 ERA) to the mound to face former Oriole prospect LHP Eduardo Rodriguez (13-5, 4.31).

Before the game, a few roster moves were made, including a call-up from Triple-A Norfolk by the name of RHP Hunter Harvey. The Orioles also sent RHP Tom Eshelman back down to Norfolk following last night’s game.

Thing to keep an eye on:

Hunter Harvey will make his major league debut if he enters the game tonight. He will wear No. 56, which was formerly worn by fan-favorite, RHP Darren O’Day. Let’s see what role Harvey will play in tonight’s game.
