Orioles look to split Beltway Series with Nats: Lineup and game preview 7/17/19

The Baltimore Orioles will look to split their short two-game series against the Washington Nationals at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.

Last night it was all Nationals, with the game ending with a score of 8-1. The only run for the Birds was off a solo home run by Hanser Alberto.

Tonight the Orioles will send RHP Aaron Brooks (2-3, 4.75 ERA) to the mound to face RHP Erick Fedde (1-1, 3.79 ERA) of the Nationals.

Thing to keep an eye on:

Aaron Brooks is coming off his first start with the Orioles, in which he pitched a scoreless and hitless 2.2 innings, along with tallying two strikeouts. Let’s see if Brooks can go deeper in the game tonight and keep up his great start with the Birds.
