Orioles hire Eddie Murray as special advisor

The Baltimore Orioles have hired Hall of Famer Eddie Murray as a special advisor. Murray is one of the greatest Orioles to play the game and will have an active role but the full role has not been released.

The Orioles have had a terrible season and have already hired Brooks Robinson in a similar role. Robinson at his age is likely just for press. Murray is only 62 and could be much more active.

Murray made a surprise appearance at the Orioles social media night. I think the more Murray is around is the better he is one of the best Orioles to ever play. Murray is a knowledgeable baseball mind.

Murray is also a fan favorite and a legend it would please fans to have him around.
