Orioles go to beltway battle for first game against Washington: Lineup and game preview

The Baltimore Orioles will face their beltway foes, the Washington Nationals, in a brief two-game series at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.

The Orioles are coming off a brutal four-game series against the Rays, in which they lost three of the four games.

The O’s look to get back in the win column, sending RHP Asher Wojciechowski (0-2, 6.10 ERA) to the mound.

Thing to keep an eye on:

Trey Mancini has been in a huge slump since the start of July. He is in a 0-for-24 skid right now, with his last hit recorded July 3. Maybe tonight is the night he ends his slump and gets back to the “should have been” All-Star we have known all season long.
