Orioles finish up last game of the shortened season in style
The Baltimore Orioles started off this crazy season with a win and they ended with a win. When taking a look back on this season, there is a lot to still be excited about with the new players such as Ryan Mountcastle coming up and immediately producing.
In the beginning of the season, the Orioles started off hot and carried a six game winning streak and looked like they were going to eek in to the playoffs at the end of the season. However, it would not be baseball if the Orioles did not encounter their own hardships that eventually took them out of the race for a playoff spot.
It has been a really fun season to watch and to cover. I anticipate the coming years to be even better and hopefully the team can clinch that ever elusive playoff birth. Once fans are allowed back in to Camden Yards, it will be an experience that you will not want to miss.
Here’s to next year’s successes and now it is time for the Ravens to be in the spotlight until Opening Day.
