Orioles fall to 1-3 after loss to 2017 World Series Champs

The Baltimore Orioles fall 6-1 to the Houston Astors Monday night and once again the Orioles offense fails to produce. Even though letting up six runs does not help its hard to win when you do not score or score only in the ninth inning in the previous three games, which the Orioles have done three times in the 2018 season.

Tillman starting the game letting up back to back doubles to be down one before you blink doesn’t help but him battling back to get out of that shows fight. Opposite what the Orioles offense has done, they seem to be laying done due to early deficits. Then again in the fourth Marwin Gonzales went yard to put the Astors up 2-0, leading to an RBI triple from Fisher and George Springer later knocking him in to take a 4-0 after four.

MVP Jose Altuve added an RBI double of his own in the 6th and then again Derek Fisher gets an RBI from his sac fly in the seventh. Chris Tillman throws 4IP, 7 H, and 4 R (1HR), Miguel Castro added 2IP, 2 H, on 1 R, then Bleier 1IP, 2 H, and 1 R, and Darren O’Day finished with a clean eight.

Orioles offense did not help much only having six hits and one run late off a Trey Mancini home run.  Look for Buck Showalter to possible shake up the lineup to hopefully see different results.

Next Game is tomorrow @8:10PM (Mike Wright vs Justin Verlander)
