Orioles Drop Doubleheader to the Yankees

The Baltimore Orioles dropped games Two and Three to the New York Yankees in a doubleheader today.

In the 1pm matinée, the Orioles lost 10-3. Jimmy Yacabonis was on the mound for 3.1 innings, allowing five hits, and six runs. Offensively, Cedric Mullins was the star; three for five, and two-out RBI.

Game Two, the Orioles lost 5-1. Andrew Cashner was the starting pitcher. He was in for seven innings, nine hits, four runs. Miguel Castro was his reliever, who has a 14.85 ERA in his last seven games. Valiant efforts were made by the offense, and the lone run came from an RBI in the ninth inning.

The fourth game of the series is tomorrow night, Sunday August 26, at 8:05pm.
