Orioles conclude 2019 draft selections

The Baltimore Orioles have concluded their selections of the 2019 MLB Draft, choosing over 40 young players.

Highlighted by their first overall pick, Oregon State star catcher Adley Rutschman, the Orioles selected 41 players. The team took 22 position players and 19 pitchers, 33 of them being college players and eight being high school players.

ORIOLES COMPLETE 2019 FIRST-YEAR PLAYER DRAFT
The Orioles made 30 selections on Day Three of the 2019 First-Year Player Draft on Wednesday, completing rounds 11-40. This year, the Orioles selected 41 players overall: 22 position players and 19 pitchers, with 33 of the selections being college athletes. The Orioles selected 16 right-handed pitchers, three left-handed pitchers, seven infielders, nine outfielders, and six catchers.
