Orioles Cobb at least two weeks away

A late spring training addition for the Orioles, Alex Cobb pitched in a four-inning game in Minor League camp Friday. The plan for now is to see Cobb progress at his own pace until he can pitch through six innings. Cobb is assigned to Double-A Bowie, and becuase he’s not on a rehab assignment he’ll have to make a start for the Baysox.

Right-hander Cobb won’t make his debut before April 14th for the O’s. Cobb will most likely be called up to be with the team around April 14th and then look to him to possible start the eleven game home stand by debuting April 20th vs the Indians.

Next Outing: April 9th with Double-A Bowie
