Orioles announce Spring Training NRIs

For those that aren’t aware, NRI stands for non-roster invitees. These are players that are not currently on the 40-man roster but have received an invitation to Spring Training.

On Friday afternoon, the Baltimore Orioles announced the invitation of 18 non-roster players to Spring Training. The list includes a few familiar names like infielder Ryan Mountcastle and Utility-Man Jace Peterson. Also, outfielders Mike Yastrzemski and Yusniel Diaz received invites as well.

Pitchers and Catchers will begin to trickle in to the Ed Smith Stadium Complex on February 12, just 18 days from today.
