Orioles acquire righty Brooks off waivers from Oakland
The Baltimore Orioles have made another roster move, claiming RHP Aaron Brooks off waivers from the Oakland Athletics.
Brooks, 29, went 2-3 with a 5.01 ERA in 15 games with the Athletics this season. Brooks started six of those games for Oakland.
It is not yet determined where Brooks will be in the organization, but it seems like he will get an opportunity to join the major league club sometime soon.
In addition to this move, the Orioles have designated RHP Josh Lucas for assignment.
