Orioles Acquire Outfielder Brett Phillips
The Baltimore Orioles have acquired Brett Phillips from the Tampa Bay Rays for cash considerations. This is the third move the birds have made in the last two days trading away Trey Mancini and Jorge Lopez. Phillips is a high strikeout risk, but has plus speed and is a good fit in all three outfield positions. Last year Brett hit 13 homeruns and stole 14 bases in Tampa.
