Denver is playing their fourth game of a rough seven game road trip, in which they are 1-2. Washington preview-The Wizards are in the 6th seed entering tonight’s game, and are 1/2 game behind the Indiana Pacers and a game behind the Philadelphia 76ers for the fourth seed. Washington defeated Denver back in October, 109-104, as all five starters scored in double figures, led by Beal with 20 points. At halftime, the Wizards will retire the #45 worn by Phil Chernier, who was a member of the 1977-1978 Championship team, and then spent 33 years as the team’s color analyst. Chernier, will be the 5th number retired by the organization, as he will join Elvin Hayes (#11), Gus Johnson (#25), Earl Monroe (#10) and Wes Unseld (#41).
