Obviously, the Tides are struggling a little bit. The offense has been decent, and the pitching has been decent, but nothing has truly clicked at the same time.

Here are some standouts so far in this young season:

ERA: Yefry Ramirez (1.50, 4 starts)

Strikeouts: Keegan Akin (27, 22.2 innings pitched)

Batting average: Ryan Mountcastle (.300, 100 at-bats)

Home runs: Ryan Mountcastle (5)

The Tides sit at 9-16, looking for something to come together soon. I think as the team meshes under the new management, and younger players continue to adjust to the Triple-A level, the Tides will fare better. Chance Sisco, Anthony Santander, and DJ Stewart  should heat up soon to hopefully put the offense over the top with Ryan Mountcastle swinging the bat the way he is right now.
