The Keys to Victory!

Maryland Can’t repeat the same mistakes

Maryland allowed Caitlin Clark and Monika Czinano to look the 2nd coming, allowed a combined 70 points. Maryland’s defense is going to be the key for this game. Maryland must force something whether it is a 2-1-2, full court press, and double team. Maryland can not have that type poor performance again. With no size in the paint, Maryland must find ways to make the game plan difficult for the Hawkeyes.

Who else steps up to the plate?

Maryland’s offense at times this season meanwhile a head scratcher, hence slow starts are a theme for some games this season. Maryland can not dig themselves in a hole with a slow especially against Iowa. Maryland will need all hands on deck for this game.

Nevertheless the Terrapins need to find ways and establish easy baskets for some like Eliza or Faith concurrently the terrapins ball movement are key as well. In the game against Illinois Diamond Miller player hero ball, and in a game like this we need everyone to touch the ball.

Fan Support?

This has been a topic of discussion this season for the Maryland Women’s basketball team. The Lack of attendance by far has been hence very disappointing, watching the No. 3 Purdue men’s team upset by Maryland’s men’s team which saw the court stormed by fans. Concurrently, the ladies have had that moment, and there have been numerous games this season where that moment Maryland should have UConn, Michigan, and Illinois. While games have 12,000 fans average in attendance, and Maryland is in the top ten for this season in that category certainly this is a bigger problem than Maryland.
