Navy Will Be Sporting a Blue Angels Themed Uniform For The Army- Navy Game
ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Army- Navy Game at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pa December 9th will be getting a little upgrade in the uniform department for the Navy Midshipman. Navy will be wearing special Under Armour Blue Angels Uniforms that pay tribute to the Blue Angeles.
Under Armour and Navy have given the fans of the Naval Academy some flashy but historic and memorable uniform combination. This years Army- Navy game jersey will be a special one representing the Navy’s best pilots in the Blue Angels. Anyone who has ever witness the Blue Angeles with their own eyes know how special their job is and how dangerous it is. This is brought into the jerseys in which you will see hand- painted designs on the helmet that depict the delta formation that the pilots fly in. There will also be a chrome facemask to mimic the visor of the Blue Angel Pilots.
Some other notable design themes you will notice is the U.S. flag located on the left sleeve just like the pilots jackets have in the cockpit. Along with the number concept is the same as the numbers on the tail of the F/A- 18 Hornet aircraft. The color Navy will be sporting matches exactly with the color concept that is on the flight suit for the Blue Angels. These are just a few of the many matching details fans will see in the game.
This is a great touch for Navy to show off the Blue Angels and what they do for our country. Navy in the past few years have shown off their deep traditions and hopefully we see UA keep producing these great jerseys in years to come.
