Nats lose to Phillies 4-3

The Nats lost to the Phillies in the first of a four game series, 4-3. Aaron Nola got the win tonight at Citizens Bank Park. Tanner Roark, who sported a new look after shaving his beard, got the loss, making this his eighth loss of the season. 24-year-old rookie Seranthony Dominguez got the save, after Tommy Hunter gave up two runs in the ninth. The winning hit was off a Rhys Hoskins home run, his 13th of the season.

A scary moment in the game was when Harper fouled a pitch that hit the top of his ankle. He seems to be fine, and was able to walk it off, but unfortunately struck out.

The Nats also had a chance in the 6th inning to take the lead, but blew it after three straight outs that would lead Harper and Rendon on base.
