Nationals Place Rendon on 10-Day DL

Nationals 3B Anthony Rendon has been sitting out without being placed on the disabled list for the past several games with a toe contusion. Today, he was officially placed on the 10-day disabled list, retro to three days ago (4/19). With Wilmer Difo available to start in Rendon’s spot, the Nationals will call up a pitcher, Austin Adams, from Triple-A Syracuse to fill Rendon’s roster spot.
