Nationals lose to Orioles 9-2: Recap 7/17/19

The Washington Nationals lose to the Baltimore Orioles on Wednesday evening at Oriole Park at Camden Yards Park in regular season action. The Nationals currently stand 50-44. The Orioles move to 29-66.

Erick Fedde pitched a very strong six innings for Washington. Fedde allowed five hits and two strikeouts while pitching for Washington. Javy Guerra allowed three hits and zero strikeouts in relief for Washington.

In the top of the third inning, right-fielder Adam Eaton out on a scarafice fly to left fielder Anthony Santander. Center fielder Victor Robles scores.

In the top of the fifth, Adam Eaton doubled on a line to center fielder Stevie Wilkerson. Trea Turner scored.

With a loss to the Orioles, the Nationals head to Atlanta to play the Braves for a four game series starting tomorrow at 7:05pm. Pitching for the Nationals will be Stephen Strasburg.
