Nationals lineup and roster update – 6/28/19
The Nationals are set to open a three-game series against the Detroit Tigers tonight at Comerica Park. After sweeping the Miami Marlins, the Nationals hope to carry that momentum to Detroit with a 40-40 record and finally reaching the .500 mark. Anibal Sanchez (3-6, 4.02 ERA) opens this series for Washington while Daniel Norris (2-6, 4.09 ERA) starts for Detroit.
The Nationals have reinstated 1B Ryan Zimmerman from the IL, and to make room for Zimmerman on the 25-man roster, Michael A. Taylor has been optioned to Double-A Harrisburg.
