Here’s the Washington Nationals lineup for tonight’s game against the Chicago Cubs.

Adam Eaton – RF
Trea Turner – SS
Bryce Harper – CF
Anthony Rendon – 3B
Juan Soto – LF
Mark Reynolds – 1B
Wilmer Difo – 2B
Spencer Kieboom – C
Stephen Strasburg – P

Despite losing two out of three, the Nationals put up quite a fight against the St. Louis Cardinals. They’ll need to maintain that attitude as the first place Chicago Cubs come to town tonight for the first of a four-game set.

Stephen Strasburg (7-7, 4.09 ERA) will take the mound for Washington. Striking out seven and allowing only two runs in six innings last time out, Strasburg hopes to continue his success against the Cubs. The last two times he faced the North Siders, Strasburg struck out 22 in 14 innings in the 2017 NLDS.

Kyle Hendricks (11-10, 3.77 ERA) gets the ball for Chicago. Hendricks had a strong August, posting a 3-1 record and a 3.41 ERA. He faced the Nationals August 10 at Wrigley Field. In the no-decision, he gave up two runs in six innings of work.
