The Washington Nationals fell to the Milwaukee Brewers 6-0 Tuesday night at Miller Park. With the loss, the Nationals drop to 14-21 on the season. Milwaukee improves to 22-16 and has won five straight games.

Stephen Strasburg (3-2) threw six scoreless innings for Washington, striking out 11 before Lorenzo Cain doubled to right with the bases loaded in the seventh. The Washington bullpen failed to stop the Brewers, who ended the inning with six runs on the board.

Washington’s offense struggled all night. Anthony Rendon, who returned from the IL, struck out twice and grounded into a double play before being ejected in the seventh for arguing balls and strikes.

Jeremy Hellickson (2-0, 5.33 ERA) will take the mound for the Nats on Wednesday afternoon in the final game of the series. Meanwhile, Brandon Woodruff (4-1, 4.71 ERA) gets the start for the Brewers.
