Nationals Add Utility Man Matt Reynolds

On Monday, the Nationals acquired INF/OF Matt Reynolds from the Mets for cash considerations. Reynolds has been up and down between the Mets and their AAA affiliate in Las Vegas, serving several roles, including all four infield positions, left field and right field. In AAA, Reynolds hit .320, while he hit .230 for the Mets.

Reynolds will likely fill the role of backup in case of injury all around the diamond. With the addition of Reynolds, the Nationals have now filled their 40-man roster.
