Milbury on elbowing

I saw this “rant” live and wanted to pass along the link. NHL commentator Mike Milbury defends the use of elbows and says that Eric Staal elbow on Tomas Plekanic was a good thing.

I think there are so many things wrong with what Milbury said, especially considering the recent attention that has been brought to concussions. Sidney Crosby and Nicklas Backstrom are two very talented players that have missed significant time due to concussions.

In my opinion, Milbury could not be anymore wrong. Concussions are not like broking bones, they can have a long lasting effect on a person and every measure that can be taken to avoid them should be taken.
