Metro to extend an extra hour for Caps’ game three

It was announced Monday morning that the Metro will remain open for an additional hour Tuesday night. Metro’s CEO announced that Metrorail will remain open for an additional hour for the Capitals game on Tuesday.

Game three is set to begin at 8 p.m. The regular closing time for the Metro is 11:30 p.m. Exelon is going to fund the extra money to cover the costs for the extended service. Fans attending game three won’t have to worry about seeing the dreaded message on the big board about the Metro closing at 11:30.
