Harrison Barnes leads the Mavericks averaging over 17 points a game, while Dirk Nowitzki, in his twentieth season for the Mavericks, is averaging 10 points a game, a sign that the Mavericks are going with a youth movement. Defensively, the Mavericks allow forty-eight percent from the field, which ranks second to the bottom in the NBA.
Wizards preview- John Wall still remains day-to-day with a sprained left shoulder. If Wall can not play, expect Bradley Beal to pick up the slack. The five-year veteran is averaging nearly 26 points a game this season. Otto Porter has been on a roll lately, as he is now averaging eighteen points a game and in his last five games, Porter is shooting sixty-three percent from the field. This is the first of a four-game homestand for the Wizards as next Washington will play host to the Los Angeles Lakers.
