Maryland @ Penn State Preview

Maryland (16-9, 5-7) travels to play Penn State (16-9, 6-6) tonight at 6:30 on Big ten Network. Both teams are in desperate need of a win since they currently lay on the outside of the tournament looking in. The scenario is the same for both sides tonight: a win would be quality and the loss would be season-ending.

the two teams have played once before, with Maryland picking up the victory in a January second matchup. In the game, all Maryland starters scored at least 9, but the Terps needed a furious second-half comeback to win a close game 75-69.

Highlights From Previous Game:

Prediction:

Maryland will need to do a much better job of containing forward Mike Watkins, who put up 17 points and 17 rebounds in their last meeting. I believe they’ll do just that and win 74-71.
