Maryland High School Wrestler wins fourth NHSCA National Tournament

Hagerstown, Maryland and current North Hagerstown High School senior Aaron Brooks won his fourth consecutive national title last week. Brooks who is currently committed to Penn State pinned three-time Utah state champion Cole Moody in 1:23 for the 170 pound division to join a short list of four-time NHSCA national champions.

Brooks finished 6-0 at the tournament help in Virginia Beach, Virginia that included five pins including four in the first period. He also won the Jeff Reese Memorial Award as the most outstanding wrestler in the senior division. Brooks also won Craig Wesner Memorial Award for recording the most pins in the least amount of time.

Brooks is committed to Penn State, but not go immediately, and is committed to attending the USA wrestling training center to train a year to get ready to join team USA for the next Summer Olympics.
