Local rookie Campanaro impressing at camp
The Baltimore Ravens held their first public practice last night at M&T Bank Stadium and several players stood out from the reports I got. One player that has stood out all camp has been local rookie Michael Campanaro as twitter blew up with praise for the young player. The Ravens beat writers have praised Campanaro all camp for his great hands and quickness off the snap. Here are a few of the tweets that praised Campanaro.
Rookie Wide Receiver, Mike Campanaro, looked like a machine out there tonight, caught almost everything! @MikeCamp_3 pic.twitter.com/PPQenLDMNl

The young Ravens player who intrigues me most is rookie WR Michael Campanero. Crazy quickness. Big vertical. Potential impact player.

There is no doubt that Campanaro will make the Ravens 53-man roster at the start of the season. I can see him starting out as a slot receiver for the Ravens. Campanaro plays tough and I think he will learn a lot from veteran Steve Smith. Hands and quickness will go a long way in the slot.
