Light Stower Power Has Arrived

Baltimore Orioles prospect Kyle Stowers made his Major League debut last night against the Toronto Bluejays in an 11-1 loss. He went one for three with a rbi double playing left field. Stowers was the second round pick for the Orioles in the 2019 MLB draft out of Stanford, and hit 27 home runs and drove in 85 runs with a .278 batting average between three levels in the minors last year. Going forward the only concern will be with his strikeouts a total of 178 last year, but he’s got a bat that will land a lot of baseballs on to Eutaw Street for years to come.
