Lamar Jackson named AFC offensive player of the month!!

AFC offensive player of the month

Well, in a season where it seems like all Lamar Jackson does is win and break records, he can add another thing to his resume. For the Month of November Jackson posted phenomenal numbers. He is also currently on a two month winning streak and making a very strong case for MVP this year. Because of this he was named the AFC offensive player of the month. But to many watching Football this year, this isn't new. It seems as if Jackson is changing up the game just like Vick did in his prime. Mostly us Ravens fans, but many others are enjoying watching what this guy can do. It's insane watching him make defenses look lost and like they're standing still. We all know about his ability to run, we saw it last season, but the question going into this season was "Can he throw well?". By now we all know the answer to that. Hell Yes! Lamar has shown his ability to put the Ravens in the position to win each week and beat teams with his arm and his legs. This guy is amazing and it seems like he is all the Media can talk about. It's been very entertaining watching Lamar play each week.

The Change:

The amazing thing about Lamar is how far he has progressed in less than a year. When we saw him in January we saw a rookie trying his hardest but not throwing the ball well and many questioned his ability to be a successful passer in this league. Well he definitely proved ALL of them wrong with his insane video game-like highlight reel plays each and every week. The scary thing? He's been doing it against the League's best and in tremendous fasion. Not only has Lamar improved his Passing, he is second in the league in passing TDs!! Through 12 weeks Lamar has 25 passing TDs and 7 on the ground. Whats crazy is that he's throwing all these TDs in a small amount of attempts, the Ravens are a running football team. The best improvement? His lack of turnovers thus far and his smarts on the field have grown exponentially.

My favorite trait about Lamar isn't something that can't be measured on the field and put into a stat book. It's his constant hunger to win and his amazing work ethic. Lamar also stays humble, all these accolades and talks about Pro-Bowl and MVP, and Lamar shrugs them off and focuses on one thing: Winning a Superbowl. That's what makes Lamar great, and that's why we Ravens fans are extremely happy to have him as our QB. For any doubters that still remain the wins and stats speak for themselves. I'm going to enjoy watching him for the years to come and I'm sure you all will too. Lets get that W Sunday Lamar!!!
