Jimmy Smith arrested in Towson

Baltimore Ravens corner back was arrested last night at the Green Turtle in Towson and charged for disorderly conduct.   Disorderly conduct is a misdemeanor and not a serious offense.

Smith was arrested because he refused to get out of the way while a female friend was passing out and vomiting, according to the Baltimore Sun.  Smith was trying to help the woman who police found had cocaine.

When medics arrived Smith refused to get out of the way. Smith became confrontational with the police.

The Ravens have had way to many arrest this offseason, I expect this case to be dropped.  Smith is usually well behaved and has a good heart, I have seen him out before.  I think this is the case of someone who was under the influence of alcohol trying to do the right thing.

Here is the Baltimore Sun article.
