ICYMI: Towson Downs Delaware, Take on JMU Tonight for Senior Night

The Towson Tigers (8-7, 18-10) were victorious in their contest against the Delaware Blue Hens (4-11, 11-17) 67-65, at home. Brian Starr and Mike Morsell were the main scorers for the Tigers. Star was making some highlight reel plays and scored 15 points, while also celebrating his birthday. Fellow Senior guard Morsell contributed 19 points, 13 of which came in the second half. The Tigers Head Coach, Pat Skerry shared his thoughts on the win.

“It was a great team win. Unfortunately, we’ve been on the flip side of a lot of these games. I am proud of the guys. Eddie (Kieth II) showed great discipline on the last play by staying straight up. We needed this win. We settled down in the second half, turned it over four times and got some good shots.”

The Tigers are back in action tonight at SECU Arena for Senior Day. The Tigers have five Seniors that will all have some playing time tonight. They will take on the James Madison University Dukes who boast a non impressive 4-10 conference record with a 8-19 overall record. JMU did get the upper-hand on Towson last time the teams played by defeating them at home by a score of 79-73.

My Prediction: Towson wins this game by a score of 70-63.

Tip-Off tonight is at 7:00 PM.
