Hershey blanked by Charlotte, lose 6-0 on the road.

Thursday night was nothing like Wednesday. The Hershey Bears wouldn’t tally a single goal in sixty minutes. Copley however would see plenty of action on his end seeing 30 shots and stopping 24. The first period would open up with a Charlotte goal at 11:37 and another at 18:13. The first goal would be Valentin Zykov first of the season. Aleksi Saarela would quickly make it 2-0 on the first power play of the night.
In the second period Aleksi Saarela would get goal number two of the game at 11:38. The period would finish out with just one goal and we’d head into the third period 3-0 with Charlotte on top.
The third period would put a dagger into the Bears starting with Sergey Tolchinksy. He would get his second goal of the week, and first of the game at 9:54 to make the score 4-0. Towards the end of the third Julien Gauthier would make it 5-0 at 17:01 in the period. Aleksi Saarela would finish off his hat trick with his 12th goal of the season at 18:21, bringing the final score to 6-0. Hershey was outshot by ten bringing the shot clock total to 20-30.
Hershey will host The Binghamton Devils for the first time with their new affiliate at Giant Center on Saturday December, 23 in Hershey. Game starts at 7pm. Go Bears
