Hershey Bears Host Bridgeport Sound Tigers: Saturday Night Preview

The Hershey Bears will be finishing out the week at home against The Bridgeport Sound Tigers for the fifth time this season. Bridgeport is currently holding second place in the division with 79 points. Hershey is in third only 4 points behind with 75 points going into tonight's matchup. Hershey is 1-3-0-0 when going against this year's Bridgeport team, and just came off a grueling 5-4 overtime loss to the Toronto Marlies last night, while Bridgeport was rested with a night off.

Hershey is not to be overlooked as many players are looking to continue point streaks on the week. Devante Smith-Pelly, who is currently playing in Hershey after being dropped down by the Washington Capitals, is on a five game point streak with a total of nine points in that streak. This includes a hat trick and total of five goals and four assists. Nathan Walker (one goal, six assits) and Jayson Megna four goals, five assists) also have a four game point streak, as well as Tyler Lewington with three assists in the past three games.

Hershey's game starts at 7pm at the Giant Center and the first 8,000 fans will receive a Ames Janitorial Services Rally Towel. The Bears will be wearing special Autism Acceptance Jerseys that will be auctioned off at the end of the third period.
