Hershey Bears 2019/20 season opener revealed
The first piece of the 2019/20 season has been revealed to Bears fans.
The home and season open will be October 5. That we already knew, but we have an opponent, our old enemy The Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins.
This comes as no surprise to me. Disturbed is playing at MSA (Mohegan Sun Arena) Saturday, and the team does not want to travel far.
This will be the first of 12. Yes boys and girls, 12 meetings with the boys in black and gold, six in WBS and six in Hershey. We also play the Phantoms 12 times, but that is another blog post.
WBS has been busy this offseason with coaching changes, young singings, and new goalies. Add in a fanbase that will travel down 1-81, and this will make for a fun opening night.
