George Mason Patriots lose to American University Eagles in overtime 78-75

The George Mason University Patriots (0-2) lost to the American University Eagles (1-0) in overtime last night. After tying up the game with 0:22 left the Patriots were quick to take a lead in overtime, the Eagles were quick to tie it up but the Patriots took the lead right back until 0:54 left in OT when the Eagles took a one point lead and eventually added two more points to that before the game concluded 78-75. The Patriots will take on the Georgia Southern Eagles ( 1-0) Tuesday at 7:00PM; while the American University Eagles will take on the Northwestern Wildcats (1-0) Monday at 8PM.
