Game Recap: Wizards take down Magic 115-98

The Washington Wizards(30-22) defeated the Orlando Magic(15-36) by a score of 115-98 at the Amway Center. The game was quite close in the first half, however the Wiz managed to pull away in the 3rd quarter by scoring 31 points to Orlando’s 22. In the 4th quarter, the Magic attempted a comeback but fell short due to Washington quality play.

All five of the Wizards starters reached double figures in the win. The Wizards leading scorer was Otto Porter Jr. who racked up 20 points, 5 assists, and 4 rebounds. Not to mention, Tomas Satoransky scored a career high 19 points along with 6 assists and 3 rebounds. The Magic’s leading scorer was a tie between Jonathon Simmons and Mario Hezoja with 15 points each. The Wiz shot 54.1% from the field and 26.9% from the 3 point line while Orlando shot 44.2% from the field and 31.2% from the 3 point line

The Wizards continue their 5 game road trip with their next opponents as the Indiana Pacers on February 5th, 2018.
