Game Recap: Navy falls to Boston U 75-68

The Navy Midshipmen(13-8, 4-4) fell to the Boston U Terriers(10-9, 6-2) by a score of 75-68. The Midshipmen were outplayed early, giving up 22 points into the first 13 minutes of the game. Navy fought back and made it close, but in the end Boston U made several free throws to seal the game.

The Midshipmen’s leading scorer was George Kiernan who racked up 22 points off the bench. Additionally, Tom Lacey grabbed 16 rebounds in 33 minutes of playing time. The Terrier’s leading scorer was Javante McCoy who had 16 points along with an assist and a rebound. The Midshipmen shot 41.9% from the field, while the Terriers shot 55.6% from the field. Navy also shot 29.6% from the 3 point line, with Boston U shooting 57.1% from the 3 point line.

This loss placed Navy 5th in the Patriot Conference, while Boston U is currently 2nd in the Patriot Conference.
