Game Recap: Navy falls to Bucknell 85-61
The Navy Midshipmen(19-11, 10-7) fell to the Bucknell Bison(21-9, 15-2) on February 21st, 2018. The Midshipmen are now 3rd in the Patriot Conference, while the Bison are 1st in the Patriot Conference. Additionally, the Bison are projected to make it to the NCAA Men’s Tournament.
The Midshipmen’s leading scorer was Hasan Abdullah with 19 points, while Bucknell’s leading scorer was Stephen Brown with 25 points. Navy shot 41.1% from the field and 36.8% from the 3 point line. Bucknell shot 55.6% from the field and 45.5% from the 3 point line.
Overall, The Midshipmen could not handle Bucknell’s exceptional offense. Navy’s next opponents are the Loyla Greyhounds.
