Game Recap: Navy defeats Lafayette 71-69

The Navy Midshipmen(18-10, 9-6) defeated the Lafayette Leopards(8-18, 6-9) by a score of 71-69 on February 14th, 2018. The Midshipmen remain 2nd in the Patriot Conference, while on the other hand the Leopards are 9th in the Patriot Conference.

Navy was led by Shawn Anderson, who racked up 28 points, which contributed to the win. On the other hand, the leading scorer for Lafayette was Alex Petrie with 21 points. The Midshipmen shot 48.3% from the field and a horrendous 16.7% from the 3 point line. The Leopards shot 50% from the field and 47.1% from the 3 point line.

Overall, Navy defeated Lafayette with Shawn Anderson’s stellar play. Navy’s next opponent is the Boston U Terriers.
