Dustin Hopkins Off IR, Will Start This Week

After missing eight weeks with a hip injury, Redskins Kicker Dustin Hopkins returned to practice earlier this week. Now it has been announced that Hopkins will not only return to practice, but will return to the active roster and start this week.

In order to make room for Hopkins on the roster, the Redskins waived his replacement, Nick Rose. Rose was a fine replacement during those weeks, kicking 10 FGs out 11 opportunities, including one from 55 yards. Before injury, Hopkins was nine for 11 on FGs and 12 for 13 on XPs.
