DL Hall named Orioles Minor League Pitcher of the Month

DL Hall, the 19-year-old pitcher from the Delmarva Shorebirds, has impressed in the month of July. Starting five games, finishing with a record of 2-1, and posting a dominant 0.67 ERA, he has been lights out and worthy of the recognition he’s receiving.

In those five starts, he only allowed a total of ten hits, as well as striking out 39 batters. As opposed to allowing 21 hits and only whiffing 16 at the plate. His strikeout total from July was greater than his past two months combined (30 Ks).

Certainly with all of the moves that the Orioles are bound to make after the fire-sale over the weekend, DL Hall may be moving his way up the ladder in the near future.
