Despite recent struggles Ravens still favored at home

The Baltimore Ravens lost 23 to 17 last Sunday against the New England Patriots for their third loss of the season. Despite the Ravens recent struggles losing two out of the past three games the Ravens are still favorite to beat the Tennessee Titans, according to SportsBettingDime.com. The Ravens are favored by about a touchdown.

The Ravens will not have fans at the stadium so the home field advantage will be very minor. The Titans come into the game with the same record as the Ravens at 6-3. Ravens fans know all too well how good the Titans can be as the Titans dominated them in the playoffs last year.

Getting revenge for the playoff loss will be extra motivation for the Ravens but injuries may hurt their cause. The Ravens have Brandon Williams ailing from an ankle injury and Calais Campbell dealing with a calf strain. The Ravens’ younger defensive linemen will need to step up to try to stop Titans running back Derrick Henry.

Henry gashed the Ravens last year, rushing for 195 yards and passing for a touchdown. For the Ravens to win they have to neutralize Derrick Henry without playing one dimensional defense.

The Ravens are more explosive on offense and the weather looks to be good for Sunday. The Ravens may be recalling veteran wide receiver Dez Bryant from the practice squad to add some offensive power.

The Ravens used all four running backs last week against the Patriots for the first time this season. That has to difficult for defensive coordinators to game plan for since Gus Edwards, Mark Ingram, J.K. Dobbins and Justice Hill all have different running styles.

If the Ravens have a solid offensive day and keep Henry in check I think they have a good chance to beat the odds and win by more than a touchdown.
