Defenseman Aaron Ness returns to the Capitals organization

The Washington Capitals have re-signed defenseman Aaron Ness to a one-year, two-way contract. This will be Ness’s fourth straight season in Red, white, and blue or chocolate and white.

Ness joined the Hershey Bears in December, after a stint with the Washington Capitals and put up his best productive season as a member of the Bears. He collected 29 points (four goals, 25 assists), a mark that led all Hershey defenders. Aaron’s 25 assists were good for fourth on the team. He was honored as the club’s winner of the Milton Garland Memorial Award as Hershey’s best defender in 2017-18.
