D.C. United rides into Montreal beaten and disheveled. After three straight losses, United faces the Montreal Impact on a three-game losing streak where they have allowed eight goals total. Short several players and with nothing in the tank, The Black-And-Red need to be in top form.

United is 10-10-9 on the season with a -2 scoring differential. Though they are currently seeded fifth in the East, they have lost the bye and now have to play on to control their playoff destiny. The Impact are two spots behind United at 11-14-4, but have a 7-4-2 record at home. Though Impact are in contention for the playoffs, they can do much better and look to make a statement win against United. Montreal is 3-1-1 when scoring first, so United has to be quick on the strike if they want to win.

Wayne Rooney is still suspended for a second straight game. After a violent incident against Philadelphia Union, Rooney will not be participating in this game, and the rest of the season will also see less of him. This on top of his announced retirement mean dark days are ahead for United, but perhaps they can still recover tonight. Whatever happens, Montreal is a game where the Black-And-Red need to show their style. The previous meeting between teams this season ended in a scoreless draw at Audi Field.

Game is played in Montreal. Kickoff at 7:30 PM.
